Full day/ longer sittings can be physically draining, so it’s very important to have a good sleep the night before your session.
Getting tattooed is quite intensive, therefore it’s just as important to ensure you have a healthy, balanced meal before coming into the studio. Understandably, you might be nervous and ‘unable’ to eat, but hunger could lead to fatigue and poor pain management during your session.
We will always offer you water, tea and/or coffee to help you feel more comfortable while you are getting tattooed. Of course, you are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks to help keep your blood-sugar at a normal level.
Avoid drinking drinking heavily or at all (if you can) the night before/ immediately before your session. Alcohol causes the blood to thin, which could lead to excess bleeding during your tattoo.
You are welcome to bring your own music and headphones, a book or anything else you would like to keep yourself distracted/ entertained while getting tattooed.
Please dress comfortably and appropriately for your session, taking into consideration the size and placement of your tattoo. For example, if you are getting a calf piece, avoid wearing tight jeans or bring loose and comfortable shorts to change into. If you are unsure of what to wear, please let me know as I can make some suggestions. Sometimes you can feel cold as your energy starts to drain, so you could bring socks, a jumper or blanket for extra comfort.
Remember, the studio only accepts cash payments. You need to ensure you have enough cash on the day to be able to cover the cost of the tattoo.
